Wealthier - after only one day...

It's not always about the Benjamins - or the Melbas or even the Rutherfords.

So - how can you be wealthier, but it not involve money?
Well, yesterday I had organised a 'puppy play-date' with a friend of ours who owns two whippets.  As we have just recently added a pug puppy to our household, we decided that it might be an idea to introduce the three of them, and start socialising the young lad into the ways of the dog.  Like hoping he's going to start cocking his leg soon.  And teaching him what happens when he bites a bigger dog's ear.
But I digress.  And admit that no, by engaging in these sorts of activities, you might not actually find yourself directly making millions, but I think you'll find yourself in a better position to do so.
Sunday was my day off.  It was a day to be spent with MSO/MBW, a few friends (four legged and otherwise).  There was to be no work - instead, I spent the day refreshing, reinvigorating and reviewing.  Fat (figuratively) was chewed,  drinks (literally) drunk and gossip, well, gossiped about.  I got home last night and after a home cooked meal of fushnchups, crashed into bed, content that even though I hadn't made a cent that day, I was definitely emotionally and mentally richer for it.  It was a day I invested in my relationship with MSO/MBW, my friend, my dog (and his) and most importantly, myself.

So - while spending a day in a doggy park with a picnic and a pug might not be your idea of a battery recharger, what is?
